• ERP: ERP is the product of the transmitter power and the antenna gain. It is expressed in decibels (dB), which is a logarithmic unit that indicates the ratio of a value to a reference level.
  • Formula: ERP (dB) = Transmitter Power (dB) + Antenna Gain (dB)

Example: If a transmitter outputs 100 watts (which is 20 dB) and the antenna gain is 6 dB, the ERP is: 20 dB + 6 dB = 26 dB

Transmitter Power:
